British Airways has announced to increase the number of flights and work more closely with Bangkok Airways. And before they start flying the London-Bangkok journey again in October.
In March, BA announced plans to fly between London and Bangkok. On October 28th, flights would start three times a week. The flights will leave from Gatwick Airport instead of Heathrow.
Today they said, between January and March 2025, they will increase the number of flights to five times a week.
Actually, British Airways planned to start flying to Bangkok in October 2022, but they had to delay it until 2023.
They will use a Boeing 777-200 ER airplane, when they start flying the London-Bangkok route. There are three types of seats in this plane:
Club: Business class (most expensive and luxurious seat class)
World traveler plus: – Premium economy (more space and comfort than the standard economy class).
World traveler: economy. (standard economy class)
This will allow the customers to book a single ticket from London to Bangkok, Koh Samui, Phuket, Chiang Mai, Phnom Penh, and Siem Reap. This deal was made by British Airways with Bangkok.
Avios and tier points will be collected by the executive club when travelling on BA codeshare journeys operated by Bangkok Airways.

In Thailand and other countries like Cambodia, Hong Kong, the Maldives, Laos, and Singapore, Bangkok has 20 Bangkok Airways planes to fly.
In November, British Airways will start flying between London and Kuala Lumpur.
