Emirates Expand Its Fourth Daily Flight in South Africa

Emirates is expanding more flights to Johannesburg in South Africa.

Now passengers can travel between Dubai and Johannesburg, and Emirates is using a bigger airplane (A380) for some of these flights, so more people can travel at once. South Africa is a key market for emirates.

From March 1, 2025, this flight will start, and it leave Dubai at night and arrive in Johannesburg early in the morning. This will give people more options to travel, especially for those who want to arrive in Johannesburg.

Adnan Kazim, Emirates Deputy President, and Chief Commercial Officer, said, “South Africa has long been a highly popular destination for both leisure and business travelers connecting to and through Dubai, and the fourth daily flight enables us to better serve the growing demand for travel to and from the market. We’d like to extend our thanks to the South African authorities for their partnership and support in securing this new service, which reinstates the capacity we offered South Africa pre-pandemic, with 49 weekly flights across three gateways. As we reflect on nearly three decades of operations to the market, we remain committed to driving inbound travel to South Africa, supporting the government as they aim to make tourism the leading economic contributor and vehicle for transformation, as well as encouraging more inwards investment to the country.” 

This will connect with Dubai, Thailand, India, and places in Europe like the UK, France, Netherlands, and Germany. Emirates new flights make it easier for travelers to travel to many other places.
