To expand the travel options, Sri Lankan Airlines and Flydubai have joined. Now travellers can book their flights with one airline and connect to destinations by the other airline.
By connecting through Flydubai’s hub in Dubai, Sri Lankan Airlines travellers can fly to 30 routes in Africa, central Asia, and southeast Europe. It means, Sri Lankan airlines can reach new destinations by using Flydubai’s network of flights
These include Bucharest, Istanbul, Krakow, Mombasa, Naples, Sofia, Tashkent and Zanzibar.
This partnership reinforces our strategy to broaden our network and global reach, presenting customers with more travel choices and flexibility,
Chief Executive Officer of Sri Lankan Airlines, Richard Nuttall, said.
In Sri Lankan Airlines’ network, flydubai travellers now can fly to 16 destinations, southern and east Asia, the Middle East, and Australia, Melbourne, Seoul, Singapore, and Tokyo.

Dubai remains an important thriving aviation hub and through these interline agreements, this will open up new horizons for our passengers, giving them more options to explore the world with ease.
The passengers can book a single ticket for their entire journey, including flights on both Sri Lankan Airlines and Flydubai. It will be easier to manage for travellers, to their travel arrangements and they won’t need to book separate tickets for each flight.
