British Airways is also alerting members of its Executive Club that there are still seats available on its latest flights, the Avios Only, which comprise two of the hottest destinations in Europe during the summer.
The airline has also recently introduced special flights between London City Airport and Madrid and Toulon (St. Tropez) following the recent expansion of the successful program. This flight will be a 100% passenger flight with all the cabins filled solely with customers who have purchased tickets using Avios, so that is, every single seat is a Reward Seat.
Summer 2026 Destinations
- Madrid: Just in time to be on the late May Bank Holiday. The flights will be departing on 22 May and returning on 25 May, on 22 May 2026 and 25 May 2026, respectively.
- Toulon (St-Tropez): This is a new destination on the BA summer schedule. These flights to the center of the French Riviera leave on 13 June 2026 and arrive on 20 June 2026.
Pricing and Availability
Although the bookings on such routes have been open since 12 February, lucky members will still be able to lock in the next rates:
- Toulon: 21,500 (economy) of Avios economy plus £2 and 36,000 (business class) of Avios economy plus £30.
- Madrid: Round trip 28,000 in Euro Traveller plus 2 in addition to the 28,000 plus £30 in Club Europe.
Every ticket has 23 kg of checked baggage. There is also the option for passengers who have a British Airways American Express Credit Card to use their Companion Vouchers to bring a second person without additional Avios (only the taxes and charges are paid).
A Milestone for Loyalty
The flight back to Madrid is a significant milestone: the 50th Avios-Only flight following the introduction of the initiative by British Airways in 2023. In contrast to the usual BA flights that only guarantee a limited number of reward seats each way, the Avios-Only services will guarantee a full plane to those who have accumulated the right amount of points.
